Come As You Are

In Come As You Are, as four actors try on archetypcal soap and sitcom roles during screen tests and are matched in various configurations, we see them slide into well-worn portrayals. In addition, a supporting cast of shared household objects vie for recognition and character-dom. A re-imagined rendition of Nirvana’s Come As You Are allows the actors to bounce out of character, while questioning how much of our personas are genuine versus constructed in the quest to satisfy others.
